A freebie wordart download for you...

This phrase came into my head the other day, and I had to play with it.  I'm not sure I'm totally satisfied with this one, so I may play with it some more. I hope you can use it.  It did help me learn a few tweaks in my new art program!

Hey, I'm back with a FREEBIE digial stamp!

Been awhile, but I've had nothing much to share.  I was pretty sick all winter, and had to deal with my Mom's death plus all the legalities entailed.  But I'm feeling healthy enough now that I've been working around the house, and I've figured out my new art program enough that I can make a few simple things.  And it's SPRING!   Up here in the Great North Woods, we still have a few patches of snow in the shady places, but the grass is green, the trees are starting to bud, my husband shaved his beard ... all sure signs of spring!  I'm almost gidy with excitement, I love this time of year.  And I'm OUTDOORS!  Don't do that much in the winter.  We've been wandering around in the woods, and sitting by the stream, and bbq-ing on the porch.  Life is good.

The external hard drive that had all my  digis and templates and svgs and stuff on it fried, so I couldn't just dip into that as I had planned for this blog. ( I plan, God laughs.)  But now, I made a few doodles in my new art program, so that gives me a chance to share with you..  The bear digi stamp freebie is very simple, and should look better than this poor copy.  You can download it at the end of this post in PNG format.  I've included one I colored and cut out.  I added black rhinestones for eyes and a ribbon bow.  Be cute for a baby card maybe??

It's been hard getting back to the blog after all this time.  I hate to post without a freebie, so this little doodle I made in PSP gives me a good excuse to get "back on the horse".  I hope you like it.  It's free for personal use, and if you use it in a challenge I'd love a link back.  Thanks!

I've been gone a long time.  As I mentioned, my Mom moved in (with an entire household of stuff!) and I had to find room for everything and finish up my Christmas gifts, which I didn't want to put online and maybe spoil a surprise.  I spent the better part of this year making a calendar for my Mom (84), and my hubby's Grand-Mom (94!).  Unfortunately, my Mom never got to use it.  We had a lovely Christmas, then a few days later (on my birthday, no less) I checked on her and found she had passed away.  We were enjoying her in the household, and will miss her. I'm just grateful that she went peacefully and was able to go with grace.
My hubby is taking care of all the probate and legal issues, thank heaven for him, and I've been trying to sort out all her stuff.  After going through literally thousands of photographs, her clothing and her extensive jewelry collection she wanted me to divide among many friends, nieces, etc., my mind is overloaded and my spirit is a bit drained.  Hopefully, I will get some "craft therapy" and have more stuff to share soon, but I'm not going to make promises (like last time!) that I might not be able to keep.

I've been MIA here for awhile, and just searched through my computer to find you something, since I've been so neglectful (shame on me!).  There was a sudden decision made by my family that my mother move in with us.  My husband drove up the furniture from mid-Florida to here in northern New Hampshire.  We've been all trying to fit ten pounds of you-know-what in a five pound bag ever since.  Even with one garage sale already, we have too much stuff!  And I decided I HAD to organize my craft room, which has been a major project.  I also had an attack of IBS a week before my mother got here that I'm only getting a handle on now.  There doesn't seem to be much I can eat besides brown rice.  All in all, it's been busy, but I've also been crafting (to preserve what little sanity I have left!).  I've got a couple of projects lined up I hope to share with you soon.  Meanwhile, you can download the free black lace frame at box HERE.  Enjoy! - Kat D.
